| Notes |
- Elmer was an artist, musician and inventor of color photography. He played any instrument and did transpositions for vocal stars of the Chicago Metropolitan Opera. After his marriage to Jessie, they moved around a lot, but after ten years of marriage, Elmer died of pneumonia leaving Jessie destitute with two small children.
