  ********** «i»According to the 1850 Indianna Census, Henry was a cabinetmaker. Henry and Angie came to Ferndale from Indiana in 1884 via the water route which was around Cape Horn (Biography of George A. Munroe). They were preceded by their sons John and Daniel who arrived in Ferndale in 1880 and established a saw mill. Henry was baptised February 1, 1808 according to a baptismal record in Inverness Parish.
